To celebrate the 2010 RBS Six Nations tournament, two of rugby union’s big names are hosting a private dinner at Westminster fine-dining Indian restaurant The Cinnamon Club on Tuesday 23 March.
Welsh international Gareth Thomas and BBC Presenter John Inverdale will discuss the highs and lows of rugby union, with anecdotes from the scrum to the sidelines – and occasionally the sin bin –
during the three-course meal accompanied by matching wines in the restaurant’s private dining room.
The evening will kick off with canapés and a cinnamon bellini before diners take their seats for a menu featuring dishes such as tandoori salmon, king prawns and crab cake, char-grilled loin of
Welsh lamb with a saffron sauce accompanied by pilau rice, and warm chocolate mousse with white chocolate ice cream.
The event is priced at £75 per person and starts at 7pm.
