Restaurants unite for City Dine-Out
The Lord Mayor’s Appeal, which raises money for selected charities that secure the future for the next generation of Londoners, has enlisted top London restaurants to raise money as part of its
City Dine-Out initiative.
This July, restaurants including
Sauterelle, Paternoster Chop
House, New Street Grill, Fish Market, Blueprint Café, Coq D’Argent, The Royal Exchange, Butler’s Wharf Chop House, High Timber and Brasserie Blanc have each pledged to donate £1 from
each customer’s bill to the Appeal. The money raised will be used by its chosen charities to provide apprenticeships in the arts, help to lift children out of poverty, to safeguard the environment,
or to enable free access to art for everyone.
City Dine-Out is one of the many initiatives organised each year to raise money for the Appeal. Keep an eye out for the Lord Mayor's
City Busk this July, which sees young musicians bringing
the streets of the city to life with music, and the Summer Cycle Challenge from London to Oxford at the end of September.
