Action Against Hunger, an international humanitarian organisation, is helping to save lives, especially those of malnourished children in Burma, Darfur,
Chad and Somalia, by working with restaurants. The organisation’s Fight hunger. Eat out, campaign is scheduled to coincide with UN World Food Day on 16 October and will last the entire month.
Participating restaurants will give diners options on how to help. Diners can add an optional donation to the bill, order the designated dish (at certain restaurants), or attend an event hosted by
the restaurant. Last year, the program raised over £300,000 to help the 55 million people worldwide who suffer from acute malnutrition. To learn more about how you can help, please click
