Pop-up Scottish restaurant comes to Islington

Pop-up restaurant The Bonnie & Wild will be taking over the kitchen of M Manze pie-and-mash shop in Islington on Saturday nights from 2 July.

The restaurant will specialise in Scottish cuisine, with seasonal produce and wild game the order of the day. Resident chefs Iain Sim (of The Mussel Inn, Edinburgh) and Isabel Widdowson (formerly of Paris restaurant Gerard Besson), will be cooking dishes such as venison haunch in redcurrant jus and pan-fried coley with queen scallops and crab-and-samphire sauce.

The restaurant will also host a variety of live bands to entertain diners.

The restaurant will be open every Saturday from 7pm. Diners are welcome to bring their own alcohol (a small corkage fee will apply). Book a ticket online.
