For 2011 MasterChef winner Tim Anderson, five is the magic number. The chef is hosting a pop-up restaurant featuring a five-course tasting menu inspired by the five senses – what’s more, a
place at the table costs just £5.
The restaurant, called Delicious by DS5, will pop up in a secret location in Shoreditch. It is being run in conjunction with Citroën, and all proceeds will go to food poverty charity FareShare.
Each ticket sold will enable FareShare to deliver 20 meals to the people it supports.
To apply for a table, visit deliciousbyds5.com. Tables will be allocated on a ballot basis; successful applicants will be notified by email or phone from
Reservations will be confirmed once a £5-a-head donation has been made to FareShare’s JustGiving page.
