German caterer Kofler & Kompanie will host a pop-up restaurant during a two-week residence at The Old Vic Tunnels, from 10-25 October.
Kofler & Kompanie have commissioned top international chefs including Viajante’s Nuno Mendes, and Matthias Schmidt, head chef at Frankfurt’s Villa Merton, to participate in the event. As well
as the Pret à Diner restaurant and lounge-bar, the underground venue – presented by Lazarides Gallery – will feature cutting-edge artwork and film which takes as its theme the ancient Greek legend
of The Minotaur.
Tickets to the exhibition cost £5, with some of the admission charge donated to The Old Vic Theatre Trust. Under-16s go free. Three courses at Pret à Diner cost £75 (including entrance to the
exhibition). Tables are available each night from 7pm-9pm. To book tickets or for more information visit www.theminotaur.co.uk.
