If you haven't planned your July schedule yet, we'd recommend a mini-break in Dorset. Why? Because the Pommery Dorset Seafood Festival is back for another year from 14-15 July. This award-winning seaside event has it all: a picturesque harbour-side location, stacks of lovely seafood, lashings of Pommery Champagne, and a host of local experts keen to share their passion for all things fish.
Taking place in Weymouth’s 17th century Old Harbour, the festival has something for everyone: masterclasses from local chefs that cover everything from how to fillet different types of fish to how to barbecue seafood; a schedule of star turns from the likes of Neil Rankin, Ed Baines and Duncan Lucas plus more oysters than you can eat – all washed down with bubbles from Pommery’s pop-up bar.
This event takes place from 14-15 July and raises money for the Fisherman’s Mission. Find out more here.
