Tooting Broadway small plate restaurant Plot is teaming up with food charity The People’s Fridge for a one-night-only dinner. On Tuesday 30 May, the restaurant will host a ‘waste’ dinner, in which dishes are made with produce that would normally be thrown away. The four-course menu will be decided on the day, dictated by the produce provided by Plot’s local suppliers. There’s a lesser sense of mystery with the drinks however; guests will be welcomed with a Negroni made from house-brewed vermouth using open bottles of wine from behind the bar, and there will also be a ‘Cabbage Sour’ cocktail, made with pickling liquor from the kitchen’s cabbage.
This dinner takes place on Tuesday 30 May with sittings at 6.30pm and 8.30pm. Tickets are £45 with 10% of each sale going to The People’s Fridge. They can be purchased at this link.
