Paladar launches Latin American wine dinner series

Latin American restaurant, bar and bodega Paladar is launching a series of bi-monthly wine dinners, with the first taking place on 19 April. The dinners, for a maximum of ten guests, will be hosted by sommelier Rafael Cabezas-Castro, alongside a guest expert and food pairings from the kitchen. Taking place in the semi-private dining room which overlooks the open kitchen, the first dinner will focus on Malbec and the special guest will be Stephanie Hénnion, founder of Déjeunons sur L’herbe, a Lille-based agency specialising in private and corporate wine tastings and bespoke wine courses. The featured wines will include Casa Valduga Brut (Brazil) and Casa Marin, Estero Vineyard, Sauvignon Gris (Chile), while  the food offering will see the likes of seabass ceviche with passion fruit tiger’s milk, and grilled octopus with bread fruit tempura, lime and candied red onion.

The first wine dinner takes place on Thursday 19 April. Tickets are priced at £57.50 per person, including a five-coure meal and five glasses of wine. To book, call 020 7186 5555.
