Oyster season kicks off in September and to celebrate, riverside favourite Le Pont de la Tour will be holding
oyster shucking classes. Enjoy a glass of Pol Roger Champagne while a chef demonstrates the technique for correctly shucking oysters as well as offering advice on how best to enjoy them.
Afterwards, feast on the shucked specimens along with a generous selection of crustacea.
Priced at £100 per demonstration plus an additional £35 per head, it’s best-value for groups, though it's also ideal for a special occasion. For sunnier days, reserving a demo slot before 7.30pm is
advised, as you may be able to snag a spot within the no-bookings alfresco area & make the most of the glorious views of Tower Bridge.
