Quaglino’s has teamed up with chamber-opera company Opera A La Carte to launch a series of dinners with entertainment.
The first two events will take place on Monday 5 March and Monday 23 April. Guests will be welcomed with a glass of Champagne and treated to a selection of arias performed by singers from Opera A
La Carte and accompanied by music director Susanna Stranders, a former Royal Opera House Young Artist.
Guests will then sit down to a three-course dinner including dishes such as gravadlax with sweet-mustard-and-dill potatoes, and chicken breast with wild mushrooms, sweetcorn and potato gnocchi
ragoût. In between courses, diners can enjoy operatic interludes. At the end of the meal, the director of Opera A La Carte, Nicholas Heath, will talk guests through the company’s 2012 season.
Tickets cost £39.50, including three courses plus a glass of Champagne upon arrival. To book, call 020 7930 6767 or visit Quaglino’s website.
