Oktoberfest at the Bavarian Beerhouse

If you can’t get to Munich this autumn for its world-famous beer festival, celebrate Oktoberfest in London instead at the Bavarian Beerhouse. Sample original German Beer such as the Oktoberfest special brew, served in one litre stein glasses by waitresses dressed in traditional Bavarian costume or ‘dirndls’. Highlights of the Oktoberfest menu include Leberkäs (Bavarian-style meatloaf), Münchner Schweinshaxen (roasted pork shank, served with sauerkraut and potato dumplings) and a wide selection of wurst (sausages), such as Bratwurst, Nürnberger and Käseknacker, served with sweet German mustard and freshly baked pretzels or ‘brez’n’.

Live ‘oompah’ bands, together with Bavarian Olympics and traditional dancing will add to the Oktoberfest atmosphere. The Oktoberfest celebrations will be held on weekends (Thursday to Saturday) from 20 September to 27 October. Tickets are priced at £12.50 which includes entry, live music, one stein of beer and pretzels.
