Min Jiang and Park Terrace celebrate Chelsea Flower Show

The Chelsea Flower Show celebrates its centenary this year. In honour of 100 years of beautiful blooms, the restaurants at Kensington’s Royal Garden Hotel – Min Jiang and Park Terrace – will host two Flower Show-themed experiences from 20-26 May.

Park Terrace’s pastry kitchen will serve a floral-themed afternoon tea, creating an assortment of special treats, such as an orange-blossom honey cheesecake, and raspberry-and-chocolate roulade. From 2-5.30pm, guests can indulge in refreshing teas, finger sandwiches, cakes and pastries while looking out over Kensington Palace and Gardens.

Meanwhile, the bar at Min Jiang (pictured) will offer a trio of cocktails inspired by the vibrant colours and fragrances of the show’s blooms. Guests can take in the picturesque views of Hyde Park while sipping a lotus martini, mandarin rose, or jasmine Collins at the 10th-floor bar.

The afternoon tea at Park Terrace costs £24 (£34 with Champagne). Chelsea Flower Show-themed cocktails at Min Jiang cost £9 each.
