Lyle’s is kicking off its latest guest chef series by welcoming Uruguayan chef Ignacio Mattos to cook up a feast for two nights this November. The critically-acclaimed chef, who is known for his Mediterranean-inspired cooking, will serve up a selection of dishes based on the best produce available and some of his classics.
For the guest chef series, menus are normally not finalised until the night of the event. Lyle’s head chef James normally sends visiting chefs a list of what meat/game and fish is best around the time of their dinner and the guest chef works something out from there. You’re guaranteed to not go hungry though, as the meals usually include eight courses, including snacks and dessert.
The Guest Chef Series with Ignacio Mattos takes place at Lyle’s on 21 and 22 November, from 6.30-9.30pm. Tickets are priced at £65 per person for a set menu, excluding drinks and service. To book, call 020 3011 5911.
