On 26 January, The Savoy’s River Restaurant will host a Louis Roederer Champagne dinner.
Guests can enjoy a Champagne reception upon arrival – as well as a glass of 2005 Louis Roederer Blanc de Blancs (a Champagne exclusive to The Savoy) with the amuse-bouche.
During the four-course meal, managing director of the Champagne house, Frederic Rouzaud, will talk to guests, introducing the matching Champagnes and answering questions.
Dishes on the menu include pan-seared foie-gras terrine with vanilla-poached quince and Savoy fruit cake (paired with 2004 Louis Roederer), and Mirabelle tart with Provence-almond ice cream and
Champagne sabayon (accompanied by a Louis Roederer Carte Blanche Demi-Sec).
The Louis Roederer dinner costs £190, including all Champagne. To reserve a place call the River Restaurant on 020 7836 4343.
