Over 400 wines descend on Brick Lane for one night only

London pop up wine event spring

If you love nothing more than sampling the fruits of the vine on a Monday evening, Great Western Wine is about to make all your dreams come true. Claiming to be the capital’s biggest ever wine pop-up, the London Wine Pop-Up has succeeded in sourcing more than 400 wines for the event – and we’ve got half-price tickets.

For one night only, on Monday 22 February, 6.30-9pm, The Old Truman Brewery will host a stunning line-up featuring some of the best and brightest winemakers from across the globe. Expect appearances from more than 80 wineries in all, including Taittinger, Champagne Jacquart, Marqués de Riscal, Trimbach, Planeta, Ferrari, d’Arenberg, Glaetzer, Henschke, Yealands Estate, Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars, MontGras, Cecchi, and many more.

Food is no afterthought either, so you’ll have a choice of hot dogs, salt-beef bagels, steak sandwiches, fajitas and buttermilk fried chicken, plus plenty of other delicious snacks too.

With so many wines available to sample, the event is set to take wine worship to an entirely new level. Tickets cost £20 each, but Square Meal readers can save 50% when ordering here using the code HALF2016.
