The chefs are booked. The culinary preparation has kicked into action. The Champagne is on ice & five London-based chefs, hosted by The Vineyard’s John Campbell, are already signing their menus for ‘The 2007 Chef’s Table’. Each evening at The Vineyard will start with a
champagne reception followed by dinner & a selection of fine wines. Plasma screen televisions in the dining room will relay images of the chefs preparing food for each table. Later guests will
meet and talk to the chefs & take home their own personal signed menu. As part of this year’s event, The Vineyard at Stockcross has created a recipe for a truly decadent experience, giving The
Chefs’ Table guests the chance to enjoy the ultimate VIP gourmet experience with luxury accommodation, champagne, homemade chocolates & fruit on arrival. They will get the rare opportunity to
mingle with the chefs over some canapés on the terrace before sitting down for the Chefs’ Table.
Monday, 30 July: Phil Howard from The Square in London, whose distinctive modern French food has enjoyed great critical and consumer success.
Tuesday, 31 July: Brett Graham from The Ledbury brings his flair for antipodean food to The Chefs’ Table.
Wednesday, 1 August: Mark Edwards from Nobu will share his passion for Asian cuisine.
Thursday, 2 August: The Vineyard’s very own chef John Campbell will grace the table by combining complex elements into dishes that look and feel simple and natural.
Friday, 3 August: Angela Hartnett from The Connaught will show guests why she has become one of the most high profile women in the restaurant world.
Saturday, 4 August: David Thompson from Nahm Thai Restaurant, almost universally acknowledged as responsible for bringing a greater understanding & appreciation of Thai food to the West.
