On Saturday 2 June, English sparkling wine producer Nyetimber is hosting a Jubilee street party in Battersea where guests can raise a toast to Queen Elizabeth II.
Well-known local foodies including writer Rose Prince and TV chef Valentine Warner will join forces with restaurateur Margot Henderson to serve street residents and guests a lunch of contemporary
British classics – all washed down with Nyetimber.
After-lunch activities at the party will include a ‘tiaras and top hats’ fancy-dress competition, croquet, and a ‘decorate your dog’ contest.
The party will be held on Worfield Street, in Battersea, from 11.30am to 5pm (lunch will be served at 12.30pm). The event will mainly be open to street residents, but Nyetimber is offering free
entry to the first 25 non-residents who queue at the junction of Worfield Street and Parkgate Road wearing tiaras or top hats.
