On Thursday 27 September, Nobu founder Nobuyuki ‘Nobu’ Matsuhisa will host an anniversary gala dinner to celebrate 15 years at the forefront of the London restaurant scene.
Matsuhisa has developed the menu especially for the occasion, and his Michelin-starred food will be matched with wines selected from the Nobu fine-wine list.
Guests will start the evening with a Champagne and luxury canapé reception in the lobby of the Metropolitan Hotel, before sitting down to a six-course dinner at Nobu London.
The menu will include dishes such as salmon tartare with wasabi soy, langoustines with ginger salsa, and white-chocolate granita with apricot crème. Wines paired with the tasting menu will include
Nobu’s own saké, which will be served by a traditional geisha girl. Following the dinner, guests will be treated to some surprise entertainment.
Tickets cost £400, including all food, wine and service. A proportion of proceeds from the evening will be donated to the Matsuhisa Foundation in aid of Ashinaga, a charity that supports children
orphaned by the 2011 Japanese tsunami. To reserve a ticket, contact Nobu London’s private-dining manager on 020 7447 4777.
