On 21 June, award-winning chef Paul Merrett is hosting a charity cook-up to raise money for Freedom from Torture, a UK-based organisation dedicated to the rehabilitation of torture survivors.
Held at L’Atelier des Chefs in Marylebone, The Big Cook Up will see diners enjoy dishes from all over the world, created especially for the event by celebrity chefs. Each dish will be paired with a
matching wine, and guests will be entertained by live performances of world music during their meal.
After dinner, diners can participate in a fast-paced auction, with prizes including a luxury week-long break for two in northern Cyprus, a private dinner party for 10 cooked by one of the
participating celebrity chefs in your own home, and the chance to win your own weight in wine. All of the money raised on the night will go to Freedom from Torture.
The event starts at 7pm; tickets cost £50. To book tickets or for more information, visit freedomfromtorture.org/thebigcookup.
