This October, food innovators Bompas & Parr have ditched their signature jelly creations to get ‘stuck’ into a new medium: honey. The food artists will collaborate with luxury restaurant and hotel group Relais & Châteaux for an immersive, experiential art installation and tasting event called The Joy of Bees.
With the decline in bee populations being well-documented, this ticketed event aims to highlight the essential role bees play in attention-grabbing ways. Bee lovers will taste rare and exotic honeys (all collected from Relais & Châteaux properties) during an hour-long, choreographed tasting journey: chill in a fragrant indoor garden, see real bees at work through an observation hive, cook with honey and enjoy artworks inspired by the work of bees. There will even be a honey sommelier on hand, to help you find your ideal toast-topper.
This event takes place on Friday 7 October at Soho event space 19 Greek Street. Tickets cost £8 for an hour-long session, with various slots available throughout the afternoon. Click here to book your place via Billetto.
