At Vinopolis, wine is generally the star of the show. But on 14 September the food will shine too. Jimmy Doherty, of Jimmy Doherty's Farming Heroes on BBC 2, will host a tasting session
focussing on the best of British produce, from his very own pigs to Kelly’s Turkeys (from Essex producer Paul Kelly) or eco-friendly tomatoes from Cornerways Nursery (of rural East Anglia) and will
be joined by representatives of each. Food will be paired with wines and beers by a wine expert from Vinopolis.
The two hour-long sessions will begin at 12N or 3pm and cost £59 per person per session, to include a copy of Doherty’s book On the Farm. For tickets call Vinopolis on 020 7940 8300 or visit
www.vinopolis.co.uk. For more information on Doherty’s farm, visit www.jimmysfarm.com.
