Join Bethnal Green’s acclaimed bar and cantina, Green & Red, for its Jaliscan Food Festival from 23-28 June. Sample traditional food
from Mexico’s Jalisco state, the home of Tequila. Dishes include torta ahogada – a soft bun stuffed with potato and chorizo served in a chilli sauce, budin indio – fried tortillas layered with
minced beef, topped with avocado, crema and pomegranate seeds, and tejuino – a sweet corn and lime sorbet. And, of course, there’ll be plenty of Tequila to wash it all down with.
The menu is served from 6-11pm, and the bar will be open as usual, from 5pm-12N
