Intimate French restaurant Morgan M, based opposite Smithfield Market, is offering guests a gastronomic adventure to delve into with a loved one this Valentine’s week.
Morgan M has created two five-course tasting menus for Valentine’s Day that will be available from 11-18 February.
The menus are both priced at £75. One includes dishes such as carpaccio of salmon and diver-caught scallops with lemon- and fromage-blanc sorbet and chervil vinaigrette, followed by fillet of Iken
Valley venison with chestnut purée, liver ravioli and game jus, and a dessert of dark-chocolate fondant with milk sorbet and orange sauce.
The second menu is a vegetarian menu offering chicory tarte tatin with girolles and cauliflower purée, main courses such as carrot-and-ginger risotto with wild-mushroom tempura, and desserts such
as apple-and-lime soufflé with lime ice cream and apple coulis.
A sommelier will be on hand throughout the week for couples who want astute wine pairings with each course.
