If you didn’t manage to eat at Ferran Adria’s celebrated el Bulli before it closed, get your mitts on tickets to the fifth annual Grey Goose winter ball, which will be catered for by the four-times
World’s Best Restaurant’s kitchen team.
At the event, the former el Bulli team – led by Paco Roncero, who cooked there for 12 years – will create a four-course meal for guests at the star-studded event – the first time they’ve ever
cooked in the UK.
The evening will kick off with a drinks reception where bespoke cocktails and no fewer than 14 el Bulli canapés will be served. Guests will then sit down to a four-course sit-down dinner, which
will be followed by entertainment from a special guest – as well as plenty of celeb-spotting opportunities. What’s more, designers Christian Louboutin and Jonathan Saunders will be auctioning
one-off designs – a cocktail bar and cocktail dress, respectively – to the highest bidder.
The sister event to Elton John’s famous White Tie and Tiara Summer Ball, the Grey Goose Winter Ball is organised in association with the Elton John AIDS Foundation and hosted by the star and his
partner David Furnish. To date, the ball has raised more than £1.8 million for the charity. This year, the money raised will fund projects in the UK and abroad, including the Cambodia Habitat for
Humanity scheme, which builds housing for families with children suffering from HIV/AIDS.
The event takes place in Battersea Park on 29 October. Tickets cost £350, with 100% of the ticket price going to the Elton John AIDS Foundation. For more information or to book tickets, call 020
