Get into the spirit at Gymkhana

Mayfair’s Gymkhana is not only one of the best Indian restaurants in London, it’s also rightly famed for its wine list, thanks to the expertise of co-owner and sommelier Sunaina Sethi. But this spring and summer, the restaurant will go one step further, teaming up with a series of highly respected independent distilleries and premium spirits to create out-of-the-ordinary drinks pairings for a string of bespoke five-course feasts, all taking place in the restaurant’s atmospheric private dining vaults.

The spirit series will draw to a close on Monday 13 June when Rockland Distilleries’ arrack expert will introduce guests to Ceylon Arrack, a South Asian spirit distilled from fermented coconut-flower sap (tickets cost £120). Is this spirit set to be the next big thing?
