This summer, Paradise by way of Kensal Green will introduce the School of Grub – a series of masterclasses hosted by some of the capital’s best-known food producers, writers and personalities.
From 6-25 June, food lovers can talk over dinner with award-winning rock-and-roll cheesemaker Alex James; take a hands-on chocolate-making class led by artisan chocolatier Paul A Young; pair
freshly shucked oysters with Sipsmith gin cocktails courtesy of oyster-and-cocktail seller Mother Shuckers; butcher and cook top-quality cuts of meat with Marylebone butcher The Ginger Pig; and
test their foodie knowledge with a quiz hosted by Sunday Times restaurant critic Kate Spicer.
The School of Grub curriculum is as follows:
Thursday 6 June: Oysters & Cocktails by Mother Shuckers (£15)
Tuesday 11 June: Butchery course by The Ginger Pig (£35)
Tuesday 18 June: Food Quiz by Kate Spicer (£5 charity donation)
Wednesday 19 June: Cheese by Alex James (£50)
Thursday 25 June: Chocolate by Paul A Young (£15)
