Most people have heard of Althorp, the Northamptonshire estate where one Lady Diana Spencer grew up. Well, the Spencer family is still in residence at this beautiful stately home, and the grounds of their family seat are set to play host to the estate’s inaugural food festival, from 24-25 September.
For the festival, the organisers have sniffed out top foodie talent to bring live cooking demonstrations and mouth-watering chef masterclasses to visitors, as well as plentiful opportunities to taste delicacies from more than 30 producers from the local or neighbouring regions. There will be guest appearances from celebrity chefs and cooks, including Aldo Zilli and Martha Collinson, as well as live entertainment, wine tastings, and child-friendly activities, from face-painting to falconry displays.
To book early-bird tickets to this event for just £6.50, visit the Althorp Food and Drink Festival page.
