To celebrate autumn's arrival, Alfred Prasad, executive chef at Tamarind, the Indian restaurant in Mayfair, has created
a selection of game specials which will run from the 12–30 October on the restaurant's à la carte. The specials highlight the best of October’s game and all offer an alternative take on the
Dishes will include oven-roasted spiced guinea fowl breast with wild mushrooms, herb potatoes, asparagus and cherry tomatoes with a dressing of toasted cumin, crushed pepper and malt vinegar;
tandoor-grilled pheasant supreme marinated with ginger, paprika, dried coriander, yoghurt and freshly ground spiced served with butternut squash and watercress salad; and boneless rabbit meat with
basmati rice, browned onions, herbs, ground spices and saffron served with okra and ginger raita.
