The Dorchester’s 45 Park Lane is offering contemporary art lovers a unique opportunity: to view the Lucian Freud exhibition, Portraits – currently showing at The National Portrait Gallery –
through the eyes of his daughter, artist Jane McAdam Freud.
McAdam Freud, who worked closely with her father, will bring personal interpretations and insider anecdotes to the discussion of each of Freud’s works.
The event will begin with breakfast at the hotel, where McAdam Freud will discuss works from Portraits with guests. Guests will then be taken to the gallery for a guided tour of the exhibition.
Tickets cost £40, including breakfast, one-way transfer to the gallery, entry to the exhibition and the tour. Tours will take place on Friday mornings (11, 18 and 25 May). To book a place, call 020
7317 6503 and quote ‘Freud’.
