Guests to the event can look forward to a slap-up four-course meal in MASH’s sumptuous private room (pictured), accompanied by matching wines that will showcase Meerlust’s full range.
Diners will tuck into a selection of starters – from a heaving charcuterie platter, to snails doused in garlic butter, and the zingy house steak tartare – all paired with the winery’s light, fruity
2011 Pinot Noir. They will then be treated to a selection of steaks from MASH’s meaty menu, paired with robust reds from the Meerlust range, including the 2009 Cabernet and the powerful 2008
Rubicon – the winery’s flagship bottling.
Myburgh will introduce each of the wines he has chosen to accompany the dinner, providing anecdotes and insights for each. He will also be available to answer questions about the chosen wines.
The Meerlust winemaker dinner will take place on Wednesday 11 September from 7.30pm. Tickets cost £145, including all food and wine. Book your
tickets here or call 0845 224 9261.
