This September, award-winning west-London gastropub Paradise by way of Kensal Green (pictured above) is hosting a South African barbecue with gourmet canapés and wine pairings courtesy of South
African winery Fish Hoek. What’s more, the whole event is absolutely free.
Fish Hoek will showcase the full gamut of its wine styles, with white varieties including Chenin Blanc and Sauvignon Blanc and reds ranging from Shiraz to Merlot and Pinotage. A Fish Hoek
representative will talk guests through each wine and answer any questions. All wines will be served with a canapé created by Paradise’s kitchen team – from pan-fried lamb and courgette brochette
with redcurrant sauce, to bison samosa with spiced-tomato dressing.
Guests can then tuck into a lavishly prepared South African braai, which will feature grilled meats and lashings of sides dishes, including delicious South African specialities.
The party will take place on Saturday 8 September, from 4-7pm, in the bohemian gardens of Paradise – a stylish and rambling restaurant-cum-bar-cum-club ideal for parties.
To attend the party and enjoy free food and wine, email firstname.lastname@example.org with your details and the number of spaces you would like to
reserve. Guests must be over 18.
