The team behind the Pavilion Café in East London’s Victoria Park to open a new restaurant, Elliot’s
Borough Market, this October. In the run up to the opening, the team behind the restaurant is running an alfresco pop-up at the Pavilion Café every Friday evening from 4 June, weather permitting.
Head chef Isaac McHale, who counts stints at The Ledbury and Nuno Mendes’ The Loft project on his CV, is designing a changing five-course menu for the occasions, with accompanying wines by local
wine merchant Bottle Apostle.
Dinner will begin between 6 and 7pm, when guests will be welcomed with a glass of prosecco and canapés, before taking their seats on a communal outdoor table. The menu will consist of dishes such
as warm Isle of Wight tomatoes with iced goats milk, and char-grilled Cornish mackerel with pickled cucumbers and mustard. The evening is priced at £50 per person, which can either be paid for
beforehand or with cash on the night. To book, call Brett Redman on 07590 032 070 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
, or call the Pavilion Café on 020 8980 0030 between 8am and 5pm. For more information, visit www.elliotsboroughmarket.com.
