You’ve probably heard of Edible Cinema, which has made a name for itself through its immersive experiences that offer sensory film screenings with edible surprises tailored to coincide with and enhance specific scenes.
The company’s next venture is a screening of Charlie and The Chocolate Factory at The Science Museum, and promises yet more fun and theatre, with talk of goop, gum that tastes like a three-course dinner, and plenty of chocolate.
The film will be shown on The Science Museum’s giant IMAX screen as part of the Science Museum Lates theme nights. Food, meanwhile, has been masterminded by creative caterers Blanch & Shock.
This event takes place on Wednesday 30 September at 9pm. Tickets cost £37 and can be purchased via the Edible Cinema website or the Science Museum website. Edible Cinema’s events are usually a sell-out, so be sure to book your place as soon as tickets are released in August. Adults only. For more information, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
