Burgundy bigwig David Duband produced his first vintage in 1991. Nearly a generation later, this prestigious winemaker’s wines are renowned as some of the best Burgundies around, and are served in many of the world’s finest restaurants.
Top Mayfair restaurant Umu is paying homage to Domaine David Duband with a seven-course wine dinner, featuring five Premiers Crus and two Grands Crus from the winemaker’s sensational cellar. The decadent menu will be themed around Kyoto-style dishes, from eel kabayaki to pigeon in black-truffle sauce, all of which will match the wines perfectly.
This event will take place on 16 March, from 7pm. Tickets cost £280. To book a place, call 020 7499 8881 or email the restaurant.
