Dine with the SupperHeroes for charity this autumn

This autumn will see the return of a movement that elevates mere mortals into foodie heroes, helping to end hunger in some of the world’s poorest countries.

From September to the end of November, a host of culinary crusaders will invite diners into their homes and serve up delicious meals, with the proceeds going to international humanitarian organisation Action Against Hunger.

The line-up for the second annual SupperHeroes series is as follows:

1 September: ‘SupperHeroes Woks!’ by Two Hungry Girls & School of Wok
13-14 September: ‘Contemporary Taste of Burma’ by Hush Hush Dining
20 September: ‘Delicious Mauritius’ by Yummy Choo
3 October: ‘Perfect Platters’ by Ayam Legend – SupperHero!
11 October: The Wandering Chef
12 October: ‘Pakistani Autumn Feast’ by Pukka Paki
18 October: ‘Sari & Lungi Indian Fancy Dress Dinner’ by Darjeeling Express
9 November: ‘Aurora Borealis Scandinavian Feast’ by Feed Your Soul
TBC November: ‘Industrial Dinner Dining Event’ by East Dulwich Supper Club

The culmination of the SupperHeroes Series will see celebrated Clapham chef Adam Byatt (Trinity, Bistro Union) host a supperclub for 20 diners at Waterloo’s Violin Factory. Taking place on Thursday 28 November, the evening will begin with a Champagne-and-canapé reception, followed by a four-course seasonal dinner with matching wines. Tickets cost £150.
