In celebration of the 2012 Chelsea Flower Show, which takes place from 22-26 May, Italian restaurant Daphne’s will create an indoor garden in its dining room.
The indoor garden – which will remain in the restaurant until 3 June – will be designed by a graduate from the English Gardening School. The graduate, who won a competition to create the display in
the restaurant, will introduce diners to cutting-edge garden design.
Daphne’s will serve a seasonal set menu inspired by the Chelsea Flower Show, including dishes such as tardivo and spinach salad with avocado and sunflower seeds; roast salmon with violet artichokes
and datterini tomatoes; and elderflower-and-prosecco jelly with gooseberries. The menu costs £19.50 for two courses or £22.50 for three courses.
