The inimitable Raymond Blanc is not just a celebrated chef in his own right; he's also played mentor to an impressive list of now-acclaimed protégés, including Ollie Dabbous, Michael Caines and Bruno Loubet.
This year, in a series of dinners, Blanc's one-time students are coming back to the restaurant to cook as peers. Each month from March to November will see one top chef sharing the kitchen with their former mentor and cooking up a special menu that features signature dishes from Le Manoir's 30-year tenure at the top of the culinary tree, plus plates reflecting the skills and passions of each guest chef.
Tickets to each Diner des Protégés cost £225, including a Champagne-and-canapé reception, dinner with matching wines, plus coffee and petits fours. To book your place, call 01844 277484 or visit Le Manoir's website.
