Chef Damian Clisby invites you Upstairs...

Trinity restaurant south west London

There’s a cure for the bleak, post-Christmas feeling that descends in January when you suddenly have nothing to look forward to: book something special that will inject the first month of the year with a little sparkle. This January, Adam Byatt is giving over the private dining room above his acclaimed Clapham restaurant, Trinity, to friend and fellow chef Damian Clisby, from Petersham Nurseries Café. Clisby is inviting select guests Upstairs for a five-course meal. It might be just what you need to keep your spirits up after Christmas – or the perfect present for the foodie in your life.

Clisby’s menu will start with luxury sharing platters featuring bites such as steak tartare with white truffle and hazelnuts, and crab croquettes with fennel and garlic aioli; this will be followed by a traditional three courses, with the main event being venison cooked over olive wood, with seasonal vegetables. There will also be a cheese course with three types of aged comté.
