Soho tapas restaurant Tierra Brindisa has launched a monthly cheese club, offering guests tutored tastings of Spanish cheese and wine.
The next event is on Pyrenean cows’ milk cheeses and takes place on 15 November, featuring Huliet Harbutt, author of The World Cheese Book, as a guest speaker. The event will feature cheeses
from two artisan dairies: Tros de Sort and Mas d'Eroles. Both are based in the Pyrenees of Catalonia, where the herds feed on the herbs and grasses of the mountain pastures. Expect the likes of Lo
Blau, meaning ‘blue one’, a semi-cured cheese with light acidity, and Costa Roia, a buttery, full-flavoured cheese with a soft pink rind, both paired with Spanish wines.
The events take place from 6-8pm and are priced at £37.50. To book, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
