This spring, to celebrate the end of the black truffle season, Soren Jessen’s City restaurant 1776 is hosting a mouth-watering
Scheduled for Monday 11 March, the five-course meal will showcase this most prized of delicacies in four different ways.
Diners will start with a sampling of truffle shavings in simple dishes such as Jerusalem artichoke soup or green bean salad, before enjoying some full-on luxury with dishes ranging from open
ravioli with scallops and black truffle to chicken with foie gras boudin blanc and black truffle. More truffles – chocolate this time – will also close proceedings.
