Battersea-based wine bar Artisan & Vine is launching a series of tasting dinners for English wines. Each month, a winemaker from one of England’s wineries will take diners through five of their
wines as part of a three-course meal. Resident chef James Robson will complement the delicate, fresh flavours of the English wines being tasted with Mediterranean-style dishes.
Hosts will include Carol Nielsen from Oxfordshire’s Brightwell Vineyards’; Sam Linter from Bolney Estate, Sussex; the CEO of Chapel Down in Kent, Frazer Thompson; Julian Barnes from Kent’s oldest
winery, Biddenden; Sam Lindo, of Camel Valley in Cornwall; Paul Langham from a’Becketts, in Wiltshire; and winemaker Charlie Holland from RidgeView Estate, Sussex.
Each tasting dinner is limited to 35 people. Tickets cost £39 for three courses and five wines.
