Café des Amis is celebrating the release of the Beaujolais Nouveau 2005, which marks the beginning of the annual Fête Populaire, a traditional festival in France based on purely hedonistic
consumption, celebrated by chic Parisians and country dwellers alike, who head out to local bars and restaurants to taste the latest offerings. From 17- 26 November, Café des Amis is bringing the
festivities to London whereby drinkers in the bar can enjoy a bottle of Beaujolais Nouveau with a plate of roasted walnuts and charcuterie from La Repetoire and diners in the restaurant can enjoy a
specially created three-course meal, hailing from the Beaujolais region. The food will be ideal for bringing out the wine’s light and fruity flavour.
