What better place to celebrate Bastille Day than in the oldest French restaurant in town, Mon Plaisir? The popular eatery is introducing a three-course set menu sampling the best of regional France
on the second Monday of each month. The first feast kicks off with Menu Parisien on Bastille Day, which also includes live accordion regional music to help set the right tone. Start with the warm
goats cheese wrapped in a crispy pancake served on a leek salad, followed by lamb noisettes with a black olive jus & broad bean & artichoke stew. Diners are given a choice between several
dishes, including two delicious desserts; a warm puff pastry case filled with raspberries, served with fromage frais & raspberry coulis, and a chocolate truffle cake served with coffee sauce.
