Make autumn 2005 an Indian summer by going to the Autumn Punjab Festival held at Mela Group’s restaurants, which will be showcasing the best of the region’s culture including food, dance, music and
art. The festival aims to introduce diners to the rich culinary tradition of the area with specialities such as gosht beli ram, a lamb curry created by late maestro Beli Ram, the undisputed king of
Punjabi cooking, or tandoori murgh, chicken marinaded overnight in yoghurt and mixed spices. The festival also offers lunchtime cookery demonstrations by Raminder Malhotra, executive chef of the
Mela Group, as well as a varied programme of art, music and Bhangra dance.
