With today being the longest day, Asahi (meaning ‘rising sun’ in Japanese) is throwing a huge party to celebrate. The first 600 people to arrive at the venue (mentioning either Simon Brewer or
Becca Steels at the door) will be able to enjoy music by two up-and-coming bands, the uplifting Bueno Chico and art rockers Jump the Underground, along with canapés and plenty of chilled Asahi –
all for free.
Tonight's festivities also mark the launch of the new Asahi advertising campaign, featuring images of the rising sun created by various graphic design students.
