Looking to add a little sunshine to your day, but know you can’t rely on British weather? Why not head to Borough Market on Wednesday 4 and Thursday 5 June, where A Taste of Spain – a festival of
all things Spanish – will be in full swing. From 12N-8pm on both days, Square Meal readers are being invited to come along, enjoy the live Spanish music, and sample an array of wine and food from
Spain, including a giant Valencian paella on Thursday afternoon.
Other regional specialities available on the day will include cheese, sausages, olive oil, cured hams and cider from across the nation. Chefs from the capital’s leading Spanish restaurants, such as
Tapas Brindisa, will demonstrate the preparation of local dishes before inviting visitors to taste them, while Campo Viejo’s wine expert Neil Phillips will be on hand to provide advice on matching
the wine to the food. For more information visit www.tastespain.info.
Until Sunday 8 June, a number of London’s best-loved Spanish eateries are running special offers including generous discounts off food bills. For full details of the offers and to print off the
coupons required, visit www.tastespain.info.
