A Tale of Two Tastings by The Cinnamon Club

On Monday 26 April and Friday 21 May The Cinnamon Club’s Vivek Singh and Australian winemakers Jim Barry Vineyards are collaborating to host two exclusive wine tasting evenings. Running from 6.30-8pm and held at sister restaurant Cinnamon Kitchen’s bar Anise, the April event is geared toward wine novices, with an informal tasting of seven wines and a selection of eight canapés, priced at £25 per person. The May event, however, is for those who know their plonk from their premier cru, with a six-course dinner at The Cinnamon Club in Westminster matched with a series of award-winning Australian wines. Priced at £90 per person, expect dishes such as tandoori Herdwick mutton rack with mint and onion sauce, paired with a Shiraz McRae Wood ’05, and roast saddle of red deer with sesame and tamarind sauce, matched with a Cabernet Sauvignon Benbounie ’02.
