Ever wanted to have a crack behind the stoves at L’Anima? Well now you can, with the restaurant’s head chef Antonio Favuzzi, no less. He’s inviting wannabe chefs to take part in a series of interactive masterclasses, for groups of up to 15.
At these hands-on classes, you’ll learn all manner of cheffy skills for use in the home kitchen: from how to buy and prepare the best fish, to how to roll different varieties of pasta with accompanying sauces.
The masterclass season kicks off with fish and seafood (21 May); followed by Italian desserts (25 June); then a focus on caviar (17 September); followed by pasta making (8 October); and a finale dedicated to cooking with white truffle (12 November).
And the best bit? After spending two hours teaching you and your classmates new skills, L’Anima will host a wine tasting, followed by a three-course lunch with matching wines, for the class - all included in the masterclass price.
Classes cost £120, starting at 10am and finishing at midday. The price includes coffee, tea, pastries and a Prosecco aperitivo.
