A night of Georgian food, wine and culture at Terroirs


‘Supra’ is the name given to a traditional, peasant feast in Georgia, the oldest wine-producing region in the world. To celebrate this custom, 12 winemakers from the Caucasian state are coming to Terroirs in Covent Garden, for one night only this month.

Guests will be served wine from each of the producers, including those made from distinct grape varieties such as Mitsvane and Chinuri. The wines will accompany an array of traditional Georgian dishes such as spring vegetables with walnuts and marigold paste or lamb stew with plums and tarragon.

To complete the Georgian Supra experience, guests can enjoy a display of polyphonic singing – an ancient tradition once practised in the country’s vineyards.
